Wedding at Champagne Manor in Charlotte, North Carolina

This modern wedding at Champagne Manor in Monroe, North Carolina was an absolute dream from start to finish! Cindy and Michael chose this unique North Carolina wedding venue for its stunning exterior and tented reception option with beautiful uplighting.

Located only a half hour from Charlotte, Champagne Manor began as a grand private residence, then became a modern wedding venue hosting elevated parties and events. This luxurious manor-style venue includes 35 sprawling acres and a private lake as well as private bridal and groomsmen suites, a ceremony space, and a tented reception area.

We kicked off Cindy and Michael's wedding weekend in downtown Charlotte at Mimosa for their rehearsal dinner. One of our favorite parts of shooting destination weddings as traveling photographers and videographers is being able to capture the full scope of the weekend. Starting the weekend with a rehearsal and ending with a brunch or day after session is so fun!

We styled this custom wedding invitation suite with some of our favorite destails including her shoes, custom fragrance, and jewelry. The distressed paper mixed with a modern typeface, and balanced out with the custom illustration had to be one of the favorites I've ever photographed. The Bride's mother also had passed prior to the wedding day and was not able to be there with them to celebrate. Cindy paid tribute to her in so many deeply personal and special ways on their wedding day, including within her wedding details.

After getting ready and taking some bridal portraits, the bride and groom did a first touch and private vow reading. We love when couples make time throughout the wedding day to intentionally spend time together, just the two of them.

Their ceremony took place at Champagne Manor's lakefront space right before golden hour. Seeded Events and Design created the most beautiful modern florals to compliment the space featuring lots of baby's breath and orchids in the arrangement.

After the ceremony concluded, we took some wedding party photos right at golden hour, then got into their portraits around Champagne Manor. As an editorial-style wedding photographer, I loved capturing a mix of candids and intentionally posed photos.

This modern elegant ceremony had the perfect backdrop during golden hour!

The intentionally curated reception decor mixed modern black and white tableware with soft blush and white florals. Revel NC provided custom signage and installations including their seating chart wall and stone table numbers and bar signage. We took a few minutes to do some editorial flash photos with their getaway car in front of the Champagne Manor estate home. Highly recommend setting aside some time for some photos after a dress change!
