Colleen and Scott’s garden wedding at the Greenville Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware, took place on the perfect fall day. From the garden whimsical details to the live band and after party, each part of their wedding was so carefully curated and personal to them.
The Greenville Country Club is a luxury wedding venue in Wilmington, Delaware. Built in 1915, the venue features an outdoor garden with a greenery-covered brick and turret roof. Inside the venue, the bride and groom getting ready spaces are filled with natural light which is perfect for our style of editorial wedding photography.

THE DETAILS
I love starting out the day photographing my couples' wedding details. Seeing all of the small details they hand-picked come together into a beautiful invitation suite and flat lay is my favorite! One feature of their wedding invitation suite that I loved was the custom watercolor painting of their venue, the Greenville Country Club, lining the envelopes.
THE CEREMONY
Colleen wore an elegant fitted crepe wedding dress from Miss Scarlett The Label, and Scott styled his tan tuxedo with an olive green bow tie. They saved their first look for the aisle, and even included their pup, Nala, in the procession. Their wedding party included close friends and family, and Colleen included some of her other close friends in photos in their mismatched dresses! I love how they all came together.
Their ceremony layout in the garden space at the Greenville Country Club was so unique. They had a centered raised altar with grounded whimsical garden florals and seating in all for quadrants of the garden. Such a unique way to structure the ceremony site!
THE RECEPTION
One of the most iconic features of their reception design was the bud vase seating chart. This seating chart was designed by Magnolia Events and has racked up over 1.7 million views on Instagram Reels and TikTok. Their tented reception at the Greenville Country Club included ambient string lights, exquisite florals and romantic candles. They partied with their live band, Midnight Hour Live, and continued the celebration through their disco themed wedding after party.
