Juliana & Daniel's Lakeland Wedding at The Terrace Hotel, Hollis Gardens & The Magnolia Building

Juliana and Daniel's wedding day was beautiful from start to finish! The perfect Lakeland, Florida wedding with whimsical garden florals, and a bride and groom who truly exuded joy! I was so honored to photograph their wedding at The Terrace Hotel, Hollis Gardens and The Magnolia Building: all staple Lakeland locations for photoshoots and weddings!

The wedding day started out in the heart of downtown Lakeland where they got ready at The Terrace Hotel.

One of Lakeland's staples, the historic Terrace Hotel and Grille sits in downtown Lakeland on Main Street and offers views of Lake Mirror. The Lakeland hotel and event space first opened its doors in 1924 as one of the first hotels to remain open year round instead of just during the high tourism season. Since then, it has become a well known piece of downtown Lakeland serving as a restaurant, bar and wedding and event venue.

The hotel has undergone renovations to maintain its historic qualities like French floor to ceiling windows and the exterior was also restored. It is now known as Terrace Hotel Lakeland, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

GETTING READY FOR THE WEDDING AT THE TERRACE HOTEL

The bride and groom got ready in their modern guest suites with their family and wedding party. The bright interior and beautiful natural lighting of the rooms created a stunning space for these two to get ready before the wedding day.

Juliana's details included rust and deep reds to compliment her wedding day florals. Detail photos during the wedding day are always some of my favorites to photograph! THE PRE WEDDING FIRST LOOK IN DOWNTOWN LAKELAND

Juliana & Daniel did their first look and private vows before the wedding in front of The Terrace Hotel. The beautiful windows and architecture created the perfect backdrop, and downtown Lakeland has so many great walkable spots for portraits as well.

Following the first look, we took their wedding party photos here as well! Peep the groomsmen matching socks with the groom's face on them, LOL.

THE WEDDING CEREMONY at The Magnolia Building in Lakeland

The wedding ceremony and reception was held at The Magnolia Venue - a historic event venue in downtown Lakeland featuring hardwood flooring and a terrace that overlooks Lake Mirror. The Lakeland wedding venue can hold between 230 and 300 guests depending on the table layout.

Arms of Persephone adorned the fireplace altar with the most stunning spring florals!

WEDDING PORTRAITS AT HOLLIS GARDENS

We took Juliana and Daniel's bride and Groom portraits in Hollis Gardens, which is located right next to the venue. This garden is another popular Lakeland wedding venue and it's one of my personal favorite places to take clients!

Juliana's modern wedding dress from David's Bridal was absolutely stunning! It featured lace detailing and her cathedral length veil completed the whole look.

THE RECEPTION – Party Time!

Party timeeee! This bride and groom didn't leave the dance floor ALLL night! They enced the reception with a private last dance – which I LOVE! This is a trend I can get on board with ;) The guests sent the newlyweds off with a sparkler exit and we wrapped up their coverage by recreating a wedding photos that both of their parents have: a portrait of the bride and groom in the back of the getaway car :')
