Vanessa and Michaels's modern wedding at Red Mesa in St. Petersburg, Florida was a contemporary black & white affair. Red Mesa has an indoor and outdoor event space located in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg. This venue was once a historic firehouse and has gorgeous exposed brick throughout the main ballroom. They also have a chic terrace called the 'Cantina' as well as a fun rooftop bar that overlooks St. Pete's downtown.
Vanessa made a stunning bride wearing a beautifully fitted Allure Bridal dress. Her wedding gown had a gorgeous button detail along the back of dress that was met with a big bow at the small of her back. We did the couple's first look where they got ready at the bride's family beach house, and then we hit the streets of downtown St. Pete for bridal party photos. The brick work all around downtown made a perfect backdrop for this couple's modern wedding.
We made our way over to Red Mesa for the weddingceremony and reception. The ceremony was held on the Red Mesa outdoor terrace, which hosts views of downtown St. Petersburg as the backdrop. Their stunning floral arrangements with white roses and baby's breath was designed by Arms of Persephone Florals. They chose to host their reception in the main ballroom, which had the building's original exposed brick and contemporary design throughout. The reception decor matched the ceremony's theme of white roses and baby's breath centerpieces along with simplistic black and white elements. We then got to watch the newlyweds dance the night away to Graingertainment's fresh beats and ended out night with a classic sparkler exit!
