heyyy, grace here!
NATIONAL PARKS ENTHUSIAST, TRAVELER & PHOTOGRAPHER
Ahh I'm so happy you're here!!
I could talk forever about how much I love being a destination wedding photographer, creating art, serving my clients well and creating an amazing wedding day experience – but having a passion for both photography and each client should be a given. So instead I'll tell you a little bit about who I am! You spend so much of your day with your wedding photographer, it's important to be sure our personalities are a great match!
who i am
My name is Grace Jicha Torres. You may recognize my maiden name, Jicha, which is the name I began my business with in 2016. (I made it my middle name when I got married!)
My husband Christian and I live in the sunshine state with our pup Scout! When we're not traveling for weddings, can find us enjoying a cozy night in baking brownies or exploring our local cities and beaches on our time off.
I'm most inspired by people's stories, and I am honored to document the most memorable pieces of your story –freezing those moments in time so you can go back to them through a photograph. I love to capture the things that may go unnoticed, the in-between laughs, raw emotion and unexpected reactions. I believe in images that reflect your love story, the way it deserves to be narrated: honest, authentic and true to you.
the travel lifestyle
My wedding photography business has its roots in my love for storytelling and traveling the national parks.
I got my first camera in 2013 for a cross country national parks trip and have loved photography ever since. Whether it's on a mountain top or on a city rooftop, I love being in beautiful new places with couples who want to get married YOUR way, ditching the traditions you don't love, keeping the ones you do, and creating new ones!
Travel is a huge part of my weding and elopement photography business, and half of my weddings are actually outside of my home state of Florida. I've had the honor of documenting couples and weddings in Zion National Park, Sedona, AZ, the Asheville mountains, San Francisco, New York City, Philly and beyond.
Your wedding or elopement day is one of the most special days of your life, and I want you to be able to enjoy it stress-free! When you hire me, you're hiring an experienced professional, a calm presence and a friend you can trust. With more than 75 weddings under my belt, I work well in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment with different lighting scenarios, unexpected weather, varying family dynamics, and anything else a wedding day throws my way!
My degree is in Journalism with minors in Graphic Design, Visual Art and Theology; and my education in storytelling and the arts largely contributes to how I approach photography.
My wedding photography style is a mix of journalism and fine art – subtly documenting the candid moments while achieving editorial and artful images through thoughtful composition and posing.
YOU CAN FEEL THE EMOTION IN EVERY IMAGE
On our special day, when thinking of how best to capture every little intricate moment and detail, what was on the top of our minds was authenticity and intimacy. We wanted to remember every second of our wedding at the Rialto Theatre in Tampa through a lens that made you feel like you were right there in the thick of the beauty and magic. We searched for someone who could take what was in our heads and make it a reality and stumbled upon a photo taken by Grace on Pinterest and instantly we saw what we were looking for! Not only does she capture every moment with an authentic and raw feel, but you can seriously feel the emotion in every image. She is absolutely amazing and brilliantly talented, literally every photo we got back was to die for and we will hold each so dearly close to our hearts for years to come!

LETTING YOU INTO MY LOVE STORY
OUR WEDDING DAY. may 30, 2021 – zion national park, utah
The guy you see up there is my absolute best friend, biggest supporter and the love of my life. Christian and I met on Hinge, so shoutout to all of my online dating success story couples!
Our first date was at BarTaco – because tacos are both of our favorite foods!
We got married in May of 2021 right outside of Zion National Park with the people who we cherish the most and it was the best day of our lives!
We made our day our own and wrote our own vows and did a first look, and kept some wedding staples like our first dance..
After going through our season of engagement, wedding planning, and now married life, I value connecting with my couples on another level and offering the support and advice I appreciated during that time in my life.
P.S.: We run the business full time together, so he's at most weddings!
